दीक्षितेन परिज्ञातो दैवाद्द्यूतकृतः करे ।। उवाच दीक्षितस्तं च कुतो लब्धा त्वयोर्मिका ।। ३८ ।।

sanskrit

It chanced that one day the Dīkṣita saw it in the hand of the gambler. He asked the fellow—“Where did you get this ring from?”

english translation

dIkSitena parijJAto daivAddyUtakRtaH kare || uvAca dIkSitastaM ca kuto labdhA tvayormikA || 38 ||
