दीक्षितेन परिज्ञातो दैवाद्द्यूतकृतः करे ॥ उवाच दीक्षितस्तं च कुतो लब्धा त्वयोर्मिका ॥ ३८ ॥

It chanced that one day the Dīkṣita saw it in the hand of the gambler. He asked the fellow—“Where did you get this ring from?”

english translation

dIkSitena parijJAto daivAddyUtakRtaH kare ॥ uvAca dIkSitastaM ca kuto labdhA tvayormikA ॥ 38 ॥
