संत्यक्तब्राह्मणाचारः संध्यास्नानपराङ्मुखः॥ निंदको वेदशास्त्राणां देवब्राह्मणनिंदकः॥2-1-17-१०॥
He eschewed all brahminical ways and conduct of life. He was averse to the performance of Sandhyā prayers and ceremonial ablutions. He began to speak ill of the Vedas, sacred texts, devas and brahmins.
