वृन्दा विमोहिता देवि विष्णुना हि प्रयत्नतः ॥ स्ववृषात्त्याजिता वह्नौ भस्मीभूता गतिं गता ॥२६॥
She was made to forsake her virtue and reduced to ashes in the fire. She attained salvation.
english translation
vRndA vimohitA devi viSNunA hi prayatnataH ॥ svavRSAttyAjitA vahnau bhasmIbhUtA gatiM gatA ॥26॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजलंधरो हतो युद्धे तद्भयान्मो चिता वयम् ॥ गिरिशेन कृपां कृत्वा भक्तानुग्रहकारिणा ॥ २७ ॥
Jalandhara was slain in the battle by Śiva who took pity on us and who always blesses his devotees. We have been relieved from his fear.
english translation
jalaMdharo hato yuddhe tadbhayAnmo citA vayam ॥ girizena kRpAM kRtvA bhaktAnugrahakAriNA ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदाज्ञया वयं सर्वे शरणं ते समागताः ॥ त्वं हि शंभुर्युवां देवि भक्तोद्धारपरायणौ ॥ २८ ॥
It is at his bidding that we all have sought refuge in you. You and Śiva, O goddess, are always engaged in uplifting your devotees.
english translation
tadAjJayA vayaM sarve zaraNaM te samAgatAH ॥ tvaM hi zaMbhuryuvAM devi bhaktoddhAraparAyaNau ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवृन्दालावण्यसंभ्रातो विष्णुस्तिष्ठति तत्र वै ॥ तच्चिताभस्मसंधारी ज्ञानभ्रष्टो विमोहितः ॥२९॥
Infatuated by the beauty of Vṛndā, Viṣṇu is staying there itself. He has lost his balance. He is deluded. He has smeared himself with the ashes from her pyre.
english translation
vRndAlAvaNyasaMbhrAto viSNustiSThati tatra vai ॥ taccitAbhasmasaMdhArI jJAnabhraSTo vimohitaH ॥29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसंसिद्धसुरसंघैश्च बोधितोऽपि महेश्वरि ॥ न बुध्यते हरिस्सोथ तव मायाविमोहितः ॥2-5-26-३०॥
O great goddess deluded by your illusion, Viṣṇu does not come to his own though advised and consoled by the gods and Siddhas.

saMsiddhasurasaMghaizca bodhito'pi mahezvari ॥ na budhyate harissotha tava mAyAvimohitaH ॥2-5-26-30॥
