प्रसन्नो भव देवेश रक्षास्मान्सर्वदा शिव ॥ त्वत्प्रजाश्च वयं नाथ सदा त्वच्छरणं गताः ॥ ३१ ॥
O lord of gods, be pleased. O Śiva, protect us ever. O lord, we are your subjects and we ever seek refuge in you.
english translation
सनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ इति स्तुत्वा च ते देवा ब्रह्माद्यास्समुनीश्वराः ॥ तूष्णीं बभूवुर्हि तदा शिवांघ्रिद्वन्द्वचेतसः ॥ ३२ ॥
Sanatkumāra said: After eulogising Brahmā, other gods and the great sages, the gods remained silent with their minds fixed on Śiva’s feet.
english translation
अथ शंभुर्महेशानः श्रुत्वा देवस्तुतिं शुभाम्॥ दत्त्वा वरान्वरान्सद्यस्तत्रैवांतर्दधे प्रभुः ॥ ३३ ॥
The great lord Śiva heard the auspicious prayer of the gods, conferred boons on them and then vanished immediately from the scene.
english translation
देवास्सर्वेऽपि मुदिता ब्रह्माद्या हतशत्रवः ॥ स्वं स्वं धाम ययुः प्रीता गायंतः शिवसद्यशः ॥ ३४ ॥
Brahmā and other gods were jubilant as the enemies had been killed. Delightfully singing the great glory of Śiva, they left for their own abodes.

इदं परममाख्यानं जलंधरविमर्दनम् ॥ महेशचरितं पुण्यं महाघौघविनाशनम् ॥ ३५ ॥
