राजसी च सुरा देवी सत्त्वरूपात्तु सा सती ॥ लक्ष्मीस्तमोमयी ज्ञेया विरूपा च शिवा परा ॥2-1-16-४०॥
The goddess of speech is of Rājasic nature; Satī is of the Sāttvika nature and Lakṣmī is of Tamasic nature; the great goddess Śivā is of the three natures.
