त्वं वै सृजसि लोकांश्च रजसा विधिनामभाक् ।। सत्त्वेन हरिरूपस्त्वं सकलं यासि वै जगत् ।।३१।।

sanskrit

With the Rajas attribute you alone create the worlds assuming the name Brahma. You are identical with Viṣṇu in Sattva attribute and you protect the entire universe.

english translation

tvaM vai sRjasi lokAMzca rajasA vidhinAmabhAk || sattvena harirUpastvaM sakalaM yAsi vai jagat ||31||

त्वमेवासि महादेव तमसा हररूपधृक् ।। लीलया भुवनं सर्वं निखिलं पांचभौतिकम् ।।३२।।

sanskrit

With the Tamas attribute you assume the form of Śiva, O great God and you alone devour the universe composed of five elements.

english translation

tvamevAsi mahAdeva tamasA hararUpadhRk || lIlayA bhuvanaM sarvaM nikhilaM pAMcabhautikam ||32||

त्वद्ध्यानबलतस्सूर्यस्तपते विश्वभावन ।। अमृतं च्यवते लोके शशी वाति समरिणः।।३३।।

With the strength of meditating on you, O creator of the universe, the sun blazes, the moon exudes nectar and the wind blows.

english translation

tvaddhyAnabalatassUryastapate vizvabhAvana || amRtaM cyavate loke zazI vAti samariNaH||33||

त्वद्ध्यानबलतो मेघाश्चांबु वर्षंति शंकर ।। त्वद्ध्यानबलतश्शक्रस्त्रिलोकीं पाति पुत्रवत् ।।३४।।

O Śiva, with the strength of meditating on you, the clouds shower water. Indra protects the worlds like his sons.

त्वद्ध्यानबलतो मेघाः सर्वे देवा मुनीश्वराः ।। स्वाधिकारं च कुर्वंति चकिता भवतो भयात् ।। ३५ ।।

With the strength of meditating on you, the clouds, the gods and the great sages carry on their tasks. They are afraid of you.

english translation

tvaddhyAnabalato meghAH sarve devA munIzvarAH || svAdhikAraM ca kurvaMti cakitA bhavato bhayAt || 35 ||
