कृतांजलिपुटो भूत्वा ततो गुरुरुदारधीः ॥ नत्वा च दंडवद्भूमौ प्रभुं स्तोतुं प्रचक्रमे ॥२१॥
Then the noble-minded Bṛhaspati joined his palms in reverence. He prostrated before him on the ground and began to eulogise the lord.
english translation
kRtAMjalipuTo bhUtvA tato gururudAradhIH ॥ natvA ca daMDavadbhUmau prabhuM stotuM pracakrame ॥21॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगुरुरुवाच ॥ नमो देवाधिदेवाय महादेवाय चात्मने ॥ महेश्वराय प्रभवे त्र्यम्बकाय कपर्दिने ॥२२॥
Bṛhaspati said: Obeisance to Śiva, the chief lord of the gods, the supreme soul, the three-eyed, possessed of matted hair.
english translation
gururuvAca ॥ namo devAdhidevAya mahAdevAya cAtmane ॥ mahezvarAya prabhave tryambakAya kapardine ॥22॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदीननाथाय विभवे नमोंऽधकनिषूदिने ॥ त्रिपुरघ्नाय शर्वाय ब्रह्मणे परमेष्ठिने ॥२३॥
Obeisance to the succouring lord of the distressed, the destroyer of Andhaka and the Tripuras, and identical with Brahmā, the Parameṣṭhin.
english translation
dInanAthAya vibhave namoM'dhakaniSUdine ॥ tripuraghnAya zarvAya brahmaNe parameSThine ॥23॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविरूपाक्षाय रुद्राय बहुरूपाय शंभवे ॥ विरूपायातिरूपाय रूपातीताय ते नमः ॥२४॥
Obeisance to Śiva of odd eyes, of diverse, deformed and surpassing features, going beyond all forms.

virUpAkSAya rudrAya bahurUpAya zaMbhave ॥ virUpAyAtirUpAya rUpAtItAya te namaH ॥24॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयज्ञविध्वंसकर्त्रे च यज्ञानां फलदायिने॥ नमस्ते मखरूपाय परकर्मप्रवर्तिने॥२५॥
Obeisance to the destroyer of sacrifice of Dakṣa, to the bestower of fruits of sacrifice, identical with sacrifice and the initiator of the greatest rites.
