त्रिमूर्तीनां महेशस्य प्रादुरासीद्घृणानिधिः ॥ आर्द्धनारीश्वरो भूत्वा पूर्णाशस्सकलेश्वरः ॥ ५६ ॥

From Mahesha (the Great Lord) of the Trimūrti, there manifested a treasure-house of compassion. Taking the form of Ardhanārīśvara, he became the complete embodiment of will, the Lord of All (Sakaleśvara).

english translation

trimUrtInAM mahezasya prAdurAsIdghRNAnidhiH ॥ ArddhanArIzvaro bhUtvA pUrNAzassakalezvaraH ॥ 56 ॥
