तं देवदेवं त्रिपुरं निहंतुं तदानु सर्वे तु रविप्रकाशाः ।। गजैर्हयैस्सिंहवरै रथैश्च वृषैर्ययुस्तेऽमरराजमुख्याः।।२८।।

sanskrit

Then all the gods, resplendent like the sun, under the lord of the gods and others went on elephants, horses, lions, bulls and chariots to kill Tripuras, leaders of the Asuras.

english translation

taM devadevaM tripuraM nihaMtuM tadAnu sarve tu raviprakAzAH || gajairhayaissiMhavarai rathaizca vRSairyayuste'mararAjamukhyAH||28||
