अभाग्यान्न समाप्तं तु कार्यमित्यपरे द्विजाः ।। कस्माद्विघ्नमिदं जातमित्यन्ये ह्यति विस्मिताः ।। 2.5.7.२० ।।

The other brahmins said—“Our task is not completed due to our ill luck.” Still others who were greatly surprised said—“How did this obstacle happen?”

english translation

abhAgyAnna samAptaM tu kAryamityapare dvijAH || kasmAdvighnamidaM jAtamityanye hyati vismitAH || 2.5.7.20 ||
