भीतेभ्यश्चाभयं देयं व्याधितेभ्यस्तथोषधम् ।। देया विद्यार्थिनां विद्या देयमन्नं क्षुधातुरे ।।२३।।

Protection shall be granted to the frightened, medicine to the sick, learning to the student and food to the hungry.

english translation

bhItebhyazcAbhayaM deyaM vyAdhitebhyastathoSadham || deyA vidyArthinAM vidyA deyamannaM kSudhAture ||23||
