मत्तो विवर्धितो दैत्यो वधं मत्तो न चार्हति ॥ तथापि पुण्यं वर्द्धैत नगरे त्रिपुरे पुनः ॥ ९ ॥
The Asuras have flourished due to my favour. They do not deserve destruction at my hands. Their merit is bound to increase in the three citiesagain.
