इत्यादिश्य मयं ब्रह्मा प्रत्यक्षं प्राविशद्दिवम् ॥ तेषां तारकपुत्राणां पश्यतां निजधाम हि ॥५६॥
After ordering directly like this, Brahmā returned to his abode in heaven even as the sons of Tāraka were watching.
english translation
ityAdizya mayaM brahmA pratyakSaM prAvizaddivam ॥ teSAM tArakaputrANAM pazyatAM nijadhAma hi ॥56॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततो मयश्च तपसा चक्रे धीरः पुराण्यथ ॥ कांचनं तारकाक्षस्य कमलाक्षस्य राजतम् ॥५७॥
Then the intelligent Maya built the cities by means of his penance: the golden one for Tārakākṣa, the silver one for Kamalākṣa and the steel one for Vidyunmālī.

tato mayazca tapasA cakre dhIraH purANyatha ॥ kAMcanaM tArakAkSasya kamalAkSasya rAjatam ॥57॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविद्युन्माल्यायसं चैव त्रिविधं दुर्गमुत्तमम् ॥ स्वर्गे व्योम्नि च भूमौ च क्रमाज्ज्ञेयानि तानि वै ॥५८॥
The three fortlike excellent cities were in order in heaven, sky and on the earth.
english translation
vidyunmAlyAyasaM caiva trividhaM durgamuttamam ॥ svarge vyomni ca bhUmau ca kramAjjJeyAni tAni vai ॥58॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदत्वा तेभ्यो सुरेभ्यश्च पुराणि त्रीणि वै मयः ॥ प्रविवेश स्वयं तत्र हितकामपरायणः ॥ ५९ ॥
After building the three cities (tripura) for the Asuras, Maya established them there desiring their welfare.
english translation
datvA tebhyo surebhyazca purANi trINi vai mayaH ॥ praviveza svayaM tatra hitakAmaparAyaNaH ॥ 59 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं पुत्रत्रयं प्राप्य प्रविष्टास्तारकात्मजाः ॥ बुभुजुस्सकलान्भोगान्महाबलपराक्रमाः ॥ 2-5-1-६० ॥
Entering the three cities (tripura) thus, the sons of Tāraka, of great strength and valour experienced all enjoyments.

evaM putratrayaM prApya praviSTAstArakAtmajAH ॥ bubhujussakalAnbhogAnmahAbalaparAkramAH ॥ 2-5-1-60 ॥
