तारकाक्षस्ततः प्राह यदभेद्यं सुरैरपि ॥ करोति विश्वकर्मा तन्मम हेममयं पुरम्॥ ४६ ॥
Tārakākṣa then said—“Let Viśvakarmā make a city which cannot be broken even by the gods. Let that golden city be mine”.
english translation
tArakAkSastataH prAha yadabhedyaM surairapi ॥ karoti vizvakarmA tanmama hemamayaM puram॥ 46 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptययाचे कमलाक्षस्तु राजतं सुमहत्पुरम् ॥ विद्युन्माली च संहृष्टो वज्रायसमयं महत्॥४७॥
Kamalākṣa requested for a great silver city. The delighted Vidyunmālī requested for a steel-set magnetic city.
english translation
yayAce kamalAkSastu rAjataM sumahatpuram ॥ vidyunmAlI ca saMhRSTo vajrAyasamayaM mahat॥47॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुरेष्वेतेषु भो ब्रह्मन्नेकस्थानस्थितेषु च ॥ मध्याह्नाभिजिते काले शीतांशौ पुष्प संस्थिते ॥ ४८ ॥
O Brahman! In these cities, when all were gathered in one place, at midday — the victorious time — when the moon stood amidst flowers.
english translation
pureSveteSu bho brahmannekasthAnasthiteSu ca ॥ madhyAhnAbhijite kAle zItAMzau puSpa saMsthite ॥ 48 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपर्युपर्यदृष्टेषु व्योम्नि लीलाभ्रसंस्थिते ॥ वर्षत्सु कालमेघेषु पुष्करावर्तनामसु ॥ ४९ ॥
Above and beyond, in the sky adorned with playful clouds, as the dark rain clouds poured down, resembling the swirling of lotus-filled waters.
english translation
uparyuparyadRSTeSu vyomni lIlAbhrasaMsthite ॥ varSatsu kAlamegheSu puSkarAvartanAmasu ॥ 49 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथा वर्षसहस्राते समेष्यामः परस्परम् ॥ एकीभावं गमिष्यंति पुराण्येतानि नान्यथा ॥2-5-1-५०॥
Thus, after a thousand years, we shall come together again. These Purāṇas will attain unity — and not otherwise.

tathA varSasahasrAte sameSyAmaH parasparam ॥ ekIbhAvaM gamiSyaMti purANyetAni nAnyathA ॥2-5-1-50॥
