पितरावूचतुः ॥ कदा क्रांता त्वया पुत्र पृथिवी सुमहत्तरा ॥ सप्तद्वीपा समुद्रांता महद्भिर्गहनैयुता ॥३५॥

The parents said: O son, when was the great earth circumambulated by you, the earth consisting of seven continentsextending to the oceans and consisting of vast jungles?

pitarAvUcatuH ॥ kadA krAMtA tvayA putra pRthivI sumahattarA ॥ saptadvIpA samudrAMtA mahadbhirgahanaiyutA ॥35॥
