पूजयित्वा तया देव्या सिद्धिभिश्चाप्यनेकशः ॥ करेण स्पर्शितस्सोथ सर्वदुःखहरेण वै ॥६॥
He was honoured by the goddess who bestowed all Siddhis on him and touched him with her hand that removes all distress.
english translation
pUjayitvA tayA devyA siddhibhizcApyanekazaH ॥ kareNa sparzitassotha sarvaduHkhahareNa vai ॥6॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूजयित्वा सुतं देवी मुखमाचुम्ब्य शांकरी ॥ वरान्ददौ तदा प्रीत्या जातस्त्वं दुःखितोऽधुना ॥ ७ ॥
After worshipping her son, and kissing his face, she granted him boons with affection and said—“You have had great distress since your very birth.
english translation
pUjayitvA sutaM devI mukhamAcumbya zAMkarI ॥ varAndadau tadA prItyA jAtastvaM duHkhito'dhunA ॥ 7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधन्योसि कृतकृत्योसि पूर्वपूज्यो भवाधुना ॥ सर्वेषाममराणां वै सर्वदा दुःखवर्जितः ॥ ८ ॥
You are blessed and contented now. You will receive worship before all the gods. You will be free from distress.
english translation
dhanyosi kRtakRtyosi pUrvapUjyo bhavAdhunA ॥ sarveSAmamarANAM vai sarvadA duHkhavarjitaH ॥ 8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआनने तव सिन्दूरं दृश्यते सांप्रतं यदि ॥ तस्मात्त्वं पूजनीयोसि सिन्दूरेण सदा नरैः ॥ ९ ॥
Vermillion is visible on your face now. Hence you will be worshipped with vermillion by all men always.
english translation
Anane tava sindUraM dRzyate sAMprataM yadi ॥ tasmAttvaM pUjanIyosi sindUreNa sadA naraiH ॥ 9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपुष्पैर्वा चन्दनैर्वापि गन्धेनैव शुभेन च ॥ नैवेद्ये सुरम्येण नीराजेन विधानतः ॥ 2-4-18-१० ॥
Either with flowers, or with sandalwood, or with auspicious fragrance, with delightful offerings (naivedya), and with proper ārati (nīrājana), as per the prescribed method.

puSpairvA candanairvApi gandhenaiva zubhena ca ॥ naivedye suramyeNa nIrAjena vidhAnataH ॥ 2-4-18-10 ॥
