सर्वावयवनिर्द्दोषं सर्वावयव सुन्दरम् ॥ विशालं सर्वशोभाढ्यं महाबलपराक्रमम् ॥२१॥
He was spotless and handsome in every part of his body. He was huge in size and had all brilliance, strength and valour.

वस्त्राणि च तदा तस्मै दत्त्वा सा विविधानि हि ॥ नानालंकरणं चैव बह्वाशिषमनुत्तमाम् ।1२२॥
She gave him various clothes and ornaments. She blessed him with benediction and said—“You are my son.

मत्पुत्रस्त्वं मदीयोसि नान्यः कश्चिदिहास्ति मे ॥ एवमुक्तस्य पुरुषो नमस्कृत्य शिवां जगौ ॥ २३ ॥
You are my own. I have none else to call my own”. Thus addressed the person bowed to her and said:

॥ गणेश उवाच ॥ किं कार्यं विद्यते तेद्य करवाणि तवोदितम्॥ इत्युक्ता सा तदा तेन प्रत्युवाच सुतं शिवा ॥२४॥
Gaṇeśa said: “What is your order? I shall accomplish what you command.” Thus addressed, Pārvatī replied to her son.

शिवोवाच॥ हे तात शृणु मद्वाक्यं द्वारपालो भवाद्य मे ॥ मत्पुत्रस्त्वं मदीयोऽसि नान्यथा कश्चिदस्ति मे ॥२५॥
Pārvatī said: O dear, listen to my words. Work as my gatekeeper from today. You are my son. You are my own. It is not otherwise. There is none-else who belongs to me.
