दुष्टहंता त्रिलोकेशश्शंकरो भक्तवत्सलः ॥ कर्ता भर्ता च हर्ता च सर्वेषां निर्विकारवान् ॥५१ ॥
The lord of the three worlds is a slayer of the wicked. He is favourably disposed to his devotees. He is the creator, sustainer and annihilator of all yet free from aberrations.
english translation
यदा यदा भवेद्दुःखं युष्माकं देवसत्तमाः ॥ तदा तदा मां यूयं वै भजंतु सुखहेतवे ॥ ५२ ॥
O excellent gods, whenever you are faced with misery you shall worship me for your happiness.
english translation
ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ इत्याज्ञप्तस्तदा देवा विष्ण्वाद्यास्समुनीश्वराः ॥ शिवं प्रणम्य सशिवं कुमारं च मुदान्विताः ॥५३॥
Brahmā said: O sage, thus ordered, Viṣṇu, the other gods and the sages bowed to Śiva, Pārvatī, and Kumāra joyously, and returned to their abodes in great delight singing the pleasant glory of Śiva, Pārvatī and their son.
english translation
कथयंतो यशो रम्यं शिवयोश्शांकरेश्च तत् ॥ आनन्दं परमं प्राप्य स्वधामानि ययु र्मुने ॥५४॥
Narrating the beautiful and glorious deeds of Shiva and Śaṅkara, and having attained supreme bliss, they returned to their own abodes, O Sage.
english translation
शिवोपि शिवया सार्द्धं सगणः परमेश्वरः ॥ कुमारेणयुतः प्रीत्योवास तस्मिन्गिरौ मुदा ॥५५॥
Śiva stayed on the mountain joyously along with Pārvatī, the Gaṇas and Kumāra. Lord Śiva was much pleased.
