मोहिनीरूपतोऽनेन पंक्तिभेदः कृतो हि वै ।। देवासुरसुधापाने वेदमार्गो विगर्हितः ।। 2.4.9.२० ।।

When the gods and Asuras sat for drinking the nectar it was he who violated the sanctity of the vows when he assumed the form of an enchantress.Thus he slighted the Vedic path.

english translation

mohinIrUpato'nena paMktibhedaH kRto hi vai || devAsurasudhApAne vedamArgo vigarhitaH || 2.4.9.20 ||
