तेन तञ्च जघानासौ दैत्यानामधिपं हरिः ।। तत्प्रहारेण महता व्यथितो न्यपतद्भुवि ।।४९।।

Viṣṇu hit the king of Asuras with it. Overwhelmed by the forceful hit he fell on the ground.

tena taJca jaghAnAsau daityAnAmadhipaM hariH || tatprahAreNa mahatA vyathito nyapatadbhuvi ||49||
