केचिद्विदारिताः पृष्ठे कुंतैर्ऋष्टिभिरंकुशैः ।। छिन्नान्यपि शिरांस्येव पतितानि च भूतले ।। २७ ।।

The backs of some were torn with javelins and goads. Several heads chopped off by double-edged swords fell on the ground.
