अदामहं यज्ञसूत्रं वेदांश्च वेदमातरम् ॥ कमण्डलुं च ब्रह्मास्त्रं विद्यां चैवाऽरिमर्दिनीम् ॥ ४२ ॥

I gave him the holy thread, the Vedas, the mantra Gāyatrī, the vessel Kamaṇḍalu, the arrow Brahmāstra and the lore that destroys the enemy.

english translation

adAmahaM yajJasUtraM vedAMzca vedamAtaram ॥ kamaNDaluM ca brahmAstraM vidyAM caivA'rimardinIm ॥ 42 ॥
