मदस्मितेन च तदा भगवान्महेशः प्राप्तो मुदं च परमां गिरिजासमेतः ॥ प्रेम्णा स गद्गदगिरो जगदेकबंधुर्नोवाच किंचन विभुर्भुवनैकभर्त्ता॥ ३७ ॥
Seeing the gentle smile of Kumāra, lord Śiva and Pārvatī attained great joy. The lord, the sole ruler of the worlds and kinsman of the universe uttered nothing with his throat choked through affection.
