दिनेदिने ताः पुपुषुर्बालकं तं महाप्रभुम् ॥ प्रसंसितानि स्वादूनि भोजयित्वा विशेषतः ॥ ३६ ॥
Feeding him specially on the choicest delicacies day by day they brought up the boy prodigy.
english translation
dinedine tAH pupuSurbAlakaM taM mahAprabhum ॥ prasaMsitAni svAdUni bhojayitvA vizeSataH ॥ 36 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथैकस्मिन् दिने तात स बालः कृत्तिकात्मजः ॥ गत्वा देवसभां दिव्यां सुचरित्रं चकार ह॥३७॥
O dear, once that son of the Krttikās went to the celestial assembly and showed wonderful feats.
english translation
athaikasmin dine tAta sa bAlaH kRttikAtmajaH ॥ gatvA devasabhAM divyAM sucaritraM cakAra ha॥37॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्वमहो दर्शयामास देवेभ्यो हि महाद्भुतम् ॥ सविष्णुभ्योऽखिलेभ्यश्च महोतिकरबालकः ॥ ३८ ॥
The boy of wonderful miracles showed his rare splendour to the gods including Viṣṇu.
english translation
svamaho darzayAmAsa devebhyo hi mahAdbhutam ॥ saviSNubhyo'khilebhyazca mahotikarabAlakaH ॥ 38 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतं दृष्ट्वा सकलास्ते वै साच्युतास्सर्षयस्सुराः ॥ विस्मयं प्रापुरत्यन्तं पप्रच्छुस्तं च बालकम् ॥ ३९ ॥
Seeing him, all the sages and gods — along with Acyuta (Lord Vishnu) — were filled with utmost wonder and began to question that boy.
english translation
taM dRSTvA sakalAste vai sAcyutAssarSayassurAH ॥ vismayaM prApuratyantaM papracchustaM ca bAlakam ॥ 39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptको भवानिति तच्छ्रुत्वा न किंचित्स जगाद ह ॥ स्वालयं स जगामाऽशु गुप्तस्तस्थौ हि पूर्ववत् ॥ 2-4-3-४० ॥
Hearing the words 'Who are you?', he did not say anything in reply. Swiftly he returned to his abode and remained hidden there as before.

ko bhavAniti tacchrutvA na kiMcitsa jagAda ha ॥ svAlayaM sa jagAmA'zu guptastasthau hi pUrvavat ॥ 2-4-3-40 ॥
