।। ब्रह्मोवाच ।। इत्युक्त्वा सकला देवा मया सह मुनीश्वर ।। दीनास्तस्थुः पुरो विष्णोर्मौनीभूतास्सु दुःखिताः ।। ४९ ।।

sanskrit

Brahmā said: After saying this, O great sage, all the depressed gods, stood silent along with me in front of Viṣṇu with great misery.

english translation

|| brahmovAca || ityuktvA sakalA devA mayA saha munIzvara || dInAstasthuH puro viSNormaunIbhUtAssu duHkhitAH || 49 ||
