तथास्त्विति च सम्प्रोच्य प्रेमवश्या बभूव सा ॥ धृतिन्धृत्वाहूय कालीं विश्लेषविरहा कुला ॥ २ ॥

Saying “So be it” she became exasperated by her affection. Controlling herself a little she called Pārvatī to her when her agitation due to imminent separation became all the more unbearable.

tathAstviti ca samprocya premavazyA babhUva sA ॥ dhRtindhRtvAhUya kAlIM vizleSavirahA kulA ॥ 2 ॥
