परलोकस्त्वयं लोको जीयते भार्य या द्वयम् ॥ देवपित्रतिथीज्यादि नाभार्यः कर्म चार्हति ॥६६॥

The present and the next world can be won through her. A wifeless man is not authorized to perform the rites of gods, Pitṛs guests and sacrifices.

english translation

paralokastvayaM loko jIyate bhArya yA dvayam ॥ devapitratithIjyAdi nAbhAryaH karma cArhati ॥66॥
