अथ ते मनसा गत्वा शिव संयुतमादरात् ॥ प्रत्यूचुर्मुनयो देवा हृष्टा विष्णुसुरादिभिः ॥ ६ ॥
Then the gods and sages remembered Śiva and spoke with delight.
english translation
॥ देवा ऊचुः ॥ धन्यस्त्वं गिरिशार्दूल तव कीर्तिर्महीयसी ॥ त्वत्समो न त्रिलोकेषु कोपि पुण्यतमो जनः ॥ ७ ॥
The gods said: O lord of the mountains, you are blessed. Your glory is great. Even in the three worlds, there is none equal to you in merit.
english translation
यस्य द्वारि महेशानः परब्रह्म सतां गतिः ॥ समागतस्सदासैश्च कृपया भक्तवत्सलः ॥ ८ ॥
At your very door, lord Śiva, the supreme Brahman, the goal of the good and favourably disposed to His devotees, has deigned to come along with us, His slaves.
english translation
जनावासोतिरम्यश्च सम्मानो विविधः कृतः ॥ भोजनानि त्वपूर्वाणि न वर्ण्यानि गिरीश्वर ॥ ९ ॥
O lord of mountains, this audience hall is very excellent. You have honoured us in diverse ways. The foodstuffs served to us were extraordinary. It is impossible to describe them suitably.
english translation
चित्रन्न खलु तत्रास्ति यत्र देवी शिवाम्बिका ॥ परिपूर्णमशेषञ्च यवं धन्या यदागताः ॥ 2-3-53-१० ॥
It is no wonder that everything is perfect where the goddess Pārvatī is present. We too are blessed since we came.
