तुलस्युवाच ॥ सती त्वया परित्यक्ता कामो दग्धः पुरा कृतः ॥ कथन्तदा वसिष्ठश्च प्रभो प्रस्थापितोऽधुना ॥३६॥
Tulasī said: Satī was formerly abandoned by you. Kāma too was burnt. Then O lord, how is it that Vasiṣṭha is sent as an emissary now.
english translation
स्वाहोवाच ॥ स्थिरो भव महादेव स्त्रीणां वचसि साम्प्रतम् ॥ विवाहे व्यवहारोऽस्ति पुरन्ध्रीणां प्रगल्भता ॥३७॥
Svāhā said: Now, O great lord, be steady in the words of women. There is a duty for women after marriage, maturity and loftiness of demeanour.
english translation
रोहिण्युवाच ॥ कामम्पूरय पार्वत्याः कामशास्त्रविशारद ॥ कुरु पारं स्वयं कामी कामिनीकामसागरम् ॥ ३८ ॥
Rohiṇī said: O lord, expert in erotic science and technique, fulfil the desire of Pārvatī. Loving that you are, try to cross the ocean of the love of your beloved.
english translation
॥ वसुन्धरोवाच ॥ जानासि भावं भावज्ञ कामार्तानां च योषिताम्॥ न च स्वं स्वामिनं शम्भो ईश्वरं पाति सन्ततम्॥३९॥
Vasundharā said:O lord, the knower of innermost thoughts, you know the emotions of love-oppressed maidens. It is not only the husband that she cherishes in her heart but she keeps the supreme lord too there for ever.

शतरूपोवाच ॥ भोगं दिव्यं विना भुक्त्वा न हि तुष्येत्क्षुधातुरः ॥ येन तुष्टिर्भवेच्छंभो तत्कर्तुमुचितं स्त्रियाः ॥2-3-50-४०॥
Śatarūpā said: A hungry person will not be satisfied until he partakes of a sweet hearty meal. O Śiva do everything whereby the woman will be satiated.
