सप्तर्षयः ऊचुः ॥ कार्य्यं साधयितुम्प्राप्ताः पितृकन्ये गिरिप्रिये ॥ विरुद्धं चात्र उक्तार्थे कथम्मन्यामहे वयम् ॥३५॥

The seven sages said: O daughter of the Pitṛs, O beloved of the mountain, we have come here to achieve a purpose. In this important affair how can we entertain opposite views?

saptarSayaH UcuH ॥ kAryyaM sAdhayitumprAptAH pitRkanye giripriye ॥ viruddhaM cAtra uktArthe kathammanyAmahe vayam ॥35॥
