ब्रह्मोवाच ॥ तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा देवदेवो जनार्दनः ॥ उवाच प्रहसन् वाक्यं शक्रमाश्वासयंस्तदा ॥३२॥

Brahmā said: On hearing his words Viṣṇu, the lord of gods laughingly consoled Indra by speaking thus.
