यस्तु लिंगसमीपे तु कार्यं किंचित्करोति च ॥ तस्य पुण्यफलं वक्तुं न शक्नोमि महामुने ॥ 2-1-10-४० ॥
O great sage, I cannot adequately express the blessedness accruing to the person who carries on any activity whatsoever in the vicinity of the liṅga.
