ब्रह्मोवाच॥ इत्याकर्ण्य वचश्शंभोर्मया च भगवान्हरिः॥ प्रणिपत्य च विश्वेशं प्राह मंदतरं वशी ॥ २६ ॥
On hearing these words of Śiva the lord Viṣṇu, of controlled senses, spoke slowly to Śiva after duly bowing to Him.
english translation
विष्णुरुवाच ॥ शंकर श्रूयतामेतत्कृपासिंधो जगत्पते ॥ सर्वमेतत्करिष्यामि भवदाज्ञावशानुगः ॥ २७ ॥
Viṣṇu said: O Sankara, the ocean of mercy, the lord of the universe, be pleased to hear. I shall do all these things strictly adhering to your behests.
english translation
मम ध्येयस्सदा त्वं च भविष्यसि न चान्यथा ॥ भवतस्सर्वसामर्थ्यं लब्धं चैव पुरा मया ॥ २८ ॥
I shall always meditate upon you. I would not act otherwise. Your omnipotency has already been experienced by me.
english translation
क्षणमात्रमपि स्वामिंस्तव ध्यानं परं मम ॥ चेतसो दूरतो नैव निर्गच्छतु कदाचन ॥ २९ ॥
O lord, let not the meditation of your form be ever far removed from my mind even for a moment.
english translation
मम भक्तश्च यः स्वामिँस्तव निंदा करिष्यति ॥ तस्य वै निरये वासं प्रयच्छ नियतं ध्रुवम् ॥ 2-1-10-३० ॥
O lord, if anyone of my devotees were to censure you, you will please assign perpetual residence in hell to him.
