घुश्मोवाच ॥ तव दर्शनमात्रेण पातकं नैव तिष्ठति ॥ इदानीं त्वां च वै दृष्ट्वा तत्पापं भस्मतां व्रजेत् ॥ ३८॥

Ghuśmā said:— No sin stays, the moment you are seen. Now, on seeing you her sin will be reduced to ashes.

english translation

ghuzmovAca ॥ tava darzanamAtreNa pAtakaM naiva tiSThati ॥ idAnIM tvAM ca vai dRSTvA tatpApaM bhasmatAM vrajet ॥ 38॥
