ततो जिग्ये हरिं युद्धे प्रार्थितं निर्जरैरपि ॥ ततो जेतुं रसां दैत्यः प्रारंभं कृतवान्मुदा ॥ ३५ ॥

sanskrit

Then in a battle he conquered Viṣṇu respected even by the gods. Then joyously the Rākṣasa began to conquer the earth.

english translation

tato jigye hariM yuddhe prArthitaM nirjarairapi ॥ tato jetuM rasAM daityaH prAraMbhaM kRtavAnmudA ॥ 35 ॥
