ततो जिग्ये हरिं युद्धे प्रार्थितं निर्जरैरपि ।। ततो जेतुं रसां दैत्यः प्रारंभं कृतवान्मुदा ।। ३५ ।।

sanskrit

Then in a battle he conquered Viṣṇu respected even by the gods. Then joyously the Rākṣasa began to conquer the earth.

english translation

tato jigye hariM yuddhe prArthitaM nirjarairapi || tato jetuM rasAM daityaH prAraMbhaM kRtavAnmudA || 35 ||
