तच्छुत्वा देववचनं प्रसन्नः परमेश्वरः॥ तथैव कृतवान्प्रीत्या लोकानां सुखहेतवे ॥ २१ ॥
On hearing the words of the gods, the delighted lord Śiva did so with pleasure for the happiness of the worlds.
english translation
tacchutvA devavacanaM prasannaH paramezvaraH॥ tathaiva kRtavAnprItyA lokAnAM sukhahetave ॥ 21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptॐ कारं चैव यल्लिंगमेकं तच्च द्विधा गतम् ॥ प्रणवे चैव ॐकारनामासीत्स सदाशिवः ॥ २२ ॥
The phallus image of Śiva known as Oṃkāra is twofold. In the Praṇava, Sadāśiva came to be known as Oṃkāra.
english translation
OM kAraM caiva yalliMgamekaM tacca dvidhA gatam ॥ praNave caiva OMkAranAmAsItsa sadAzivaH ॥ 22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपार्थिवे चैव यज्जातं तदासीत्परमेश्वरः ॥ भक्ताभीष्टप्रदौ चोभौ भुक्तिमुक्तिप्रदौ द्विजाः ॥ २३ ॥
What is born of the earthen idol became Parameśvara. Both of them yield the desires of the devotees. O brahmins, they yield worldly pleasures and salvation.
english translation
pArthive caiva yajjAtaM tadAsItparamezvaraH ॥ bhaktAbhISTapradau cobhau bhuktimuktipradau dvijAH ॥ 23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्पूजां च तदा चक्रुर्देवाश्च ऋषयस्तथा ॥ प्रापुर्वराननेकांश्च संतोष्य वृषभध्वजम् ॥ २४॥
The gods and the sages performed his worship then. After propitiating the bull-bannered deity they attained many boons.
english translation
tatpUjAM ca tadA cakrurdevAzca RSayastathA ॥ prApurvarAnanekAMzca saMtoSya vRSabhadhvajam ॥ 24॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्वस्वस्थानं ययुर्देवा विन्ध्योपि मुदितोऽधिकम् ॥ कार्य्यं साधितवान्स्वीयं परितापं जहौ द्विजाः ॥ २५॥
O brahmins, the gods returned to their abodes. Vindhya was much delighted. He realised his object and eschewed his despair.
english translation
svasvasthAnaM yayurdevA vindhyopi mudito'dhikam ॥ kAryyaM sAdhitavAnsvIyaM paritApaM jahau dvijAH ॥ 25॥
