एवमत्यद्भुताचाराच्छिवमाहात्म्यदर्शनात् ॥ पौराणां सम्भ्रमाच्चैव सा रात्रिः क्षणतामगात् ॥ ४८ ॥
On account of this wonderful event, this manifestation of the greatness of Śiva and the flutter in the midst of the citizens, the night elapsed as though it was only a moment.
