यद्वेदादौ स्वरम्प्राहुर्वाच्यवाचकभावतः ॥ वेदैकवेद्यं याथात्म्याद्वेदान्ते च प्रतिष्ठितम् ॥ १० ॥

That which is called the vowel in the beginning of the Vedas in the sense of expressing and signifying. It is the only Veda and is established in the Vedanta by its truthfulness.

yadvedAdau svaramprAhurvAcyavAcakabhAvataH ॥ vedaikavedyaM yAthAtmyAdvedAnte ca pratiSThitam ॥ 10 ॥
