सोमं कुजं बुधं जीवं कविं मंदं तम स्तमः ॥ समंततो यजेदेतान्पूर्वादिदलमध्यतः ॥ ३१॥
In the middle of the leaves from the east onwards he shall worship the Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Rāhu.

अथवा द्वादशादित्यान्द्वितीयावरणे यजेत ॥ तृतीयावरणे चैव राशीर्द्वादश पूजयेत् ॥ ३२॥
Or he shall worship the twelve Ādityas in the second covering and worship the twelve signs of zodiac in the third covering.

सप्तसागरगंगाश्च बहिरस्य समंततः ॥ ऋषीन्देवांश्च गंधर्वान्पन्नगानप्सरोगणान् ॥ ३३॥
The seven oceans and the Ganges are all around the outside sages gods gandharvas serpents and hosts of apsaras.

ग्रामण्यश्च तथा यक्षान्यातुधानांस्तथा हयान् ॥ सप्तच्छन्दोमयांश्चैव वालखिल्यांश्च पूजयेत् ॥ ३४ ॥
The villagers also saw the yakshas and the horses One should worship the seven chandas and the Valakhilyas.

एवं त्र्यावरणं देवं समभ्यर्च्य दिवाकरम् ॥ विरच्य मंडलं पश्चाच्चतुरस्रं समाहितः ॥ ३५ ॥
Thus worshiping the sun-god who covered the three worlds He formed a circle and concentrated on the four sides of the back.
