Shiva Purana
वह्नीशरक्षोवायूनां परितः क्रमतः सुधीः ॥ द्वितीयावरणे पूज्याश्चतस्रो मूर्तयः क्रमात् ॥ २८ ॥
He was wise in order around the fire, arrows, demons and winds. In the second covering the four idols are to be worshiped in order.

vahnIzarakSovAyUnAM paritaH kramataH sudhIH ॥ dvitIyAvaraNe pUjyAzcatasro mUrtayaH kramAt ॥ 28 ॥
