चतुरस्रं क्रमात्तेषु लिखेद्बीजचतुष्टयम्॥ पूर्वे बिन्दुं समालिख्य शुभ्रं कृष्णं तु दक्षिणे ॥ २६॥
Write four seeds on them in four rows in order. Draw a white dot on the east and a black dot on the south.

caturasraM kramAtteSu likhedbIjacatuSTayam॥ pUrve binduM samAlikhya zubhraM kRSNaM tu dakSiNe ॥ 26॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउकारमुत्तरे रक्तं मकारं पश्चिमे ततः॥ अकारं पीतमेवं तु कृत्वा वर्णचतुष्टयम्॥ २७॥
Ukara in the north and red Makara in the west. The yellow letter A is thus made into four colours.

ukAramuttare raktaM makAraM pazcime tataH॥ akAraM pItamevaM tu kRtvA varNacatuSTayam॥ 27॥

sarvorddhvapaMktyadhaH paMktau samArabhya ca sundari॥ pItaM zvetaM ca raktaM ca kRSNaM ceti catuSTayam ॥ 28॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतदधो धवलं श्यामं पीतं रक्तं चतुष्टयम् ॥ अधस्त्रिकोणके रक्तं शुक्लं पीतं वरानने ॥ २९॥
Below that are four white, black, yellow and red. Red, white and yellow in the lower triangle, O beautiful one.

tadadho dhavalaM zyAmaM pItaM raktaM catuSTayam ॥ adhastrikoNake raktaM zuklaM pItaM varAnane ॥ 29॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवन्दक्षिणमारभ्य कुर्यात्सोमान्तमीश्वरि॥ तद्बाह्यपंक्तौ पूर्वादिमध्यमान्तं विचित्रयेत् ॥ ३०॥
O goddess, from the south to the north the same procedure shall be adopted. In its external row it shall be painted from the east to the middle.
