ईश्वर उवाच ॥ परीक्ष्य विधिवद्भूमिं गंधवर्णरसादिभिः ॥ मनोभिलषिते तत्र वितानवितताम्बरे ॥ १ ॥
God said. Examine the ground in accordance with the rituals by smell, color, taste and so on. There in the canopy spread out the clothes desired by the mind.

Izvara uvAca ॥ parIkSya vidhivadbhUmiM gaMdhavarNarasAdibhiH ॥ manobhilaSite tatra vitAnavitatAmbare ॥ 1 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुप्रलिप्ते महीपृष्ठे दर्पणोदरसन्निभे ॥ अरत्नियुग्ममानेन चतुरस्रं प्रकल्पयेत् ॥ २ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्पत्रं तत्र निक्षिप्य पश्चिमाभिमुखः स्थितः ॥ तत्पूर्वभागे सुदृढं सूत्रमादाय रंजितम् ॥ ४ ॥

tatpatraM tatra nikSipya pazcimAbhimukhaH sthitaH ॥ tatpUrvabhAge sudRDhaM sUtramAdAya raMjitam ॥ 4 ॥
