विषयः स्यामहं देवि जीवब्रह्मैक्यभावनात् ॥ सम्बन्धं शृणु देवेशि विषयः सम्यगीरितः ॥ ३६॥
I shall be the object, O goddess, because of the feeling of unity between the living entity and the Brahman. O goddess hear the relationship and the subject has been properly explained.
english translation
viSayaH syAmahaM devi jIvabrahmaikyabhAvanAt ॥ sambandhaM zRNu devezi viSayaH samyagIritaH ॥ 36॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजीवात्मनोर्मया सार्द्धमैक्यस्य प्रणवस्य च ॥ वाच्यवाचकभावोत्र सम्वन्धस्समुदीरितः॥ ३७॥
The living entity and the soul are united with Me and the oṁkāra. The relationship between the expressive and the expressive being is expressed here.

jIvAtmanormayA sArddhamaikyasya praNavasya ca ॥ vAcyavAcakabhAvotra samvandhassamudIritaH॥ 37॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptव्रतादिनिरतः शान्तस्तपस्वी विजितेन्द्रियः ॥ शौचाचारसमायुक्तो भूदेवो वेदनिष्ठितः ॥ ३८॥

vratAdinirataH zAntastapasvI vijitendriyaH ॥ zaucAcArasamAyukto bhUdevo vedaniSThitaH ॥ 38॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptविषयेषु विरक्तः सन्नैहिकामुष्मिकेषु च ॥ देवानां ब्राह्मणोऽपीह लोकजेषु शिवव्रती ॥ ३९ ॥
He is detached from sensual pleasures, both physical and spiritual. Even a brāhmaṇa among the demigods is among the born of the worlds and observes the vow of Lord Śiva.

viSayeSu viraktaH sannaihikAmuSmikeSu ca ॥ devAnAM brAhmaNo'pIha lokajeSu zivavratI ॥ 39 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वशास्त्रार्थ तत्त्वज्ञं वेदान्तज्ञानपारगम् ॥ आचार्य्यमुपसंगम्य यतिं मतिमतां वरम् ॥ ४० ॥
He knew the truth for the purpose of all scriptures and was well versed in the knowledge of Vedanta. Approaching the ācārya the best of the wise ascetics.
english translation
sarvazAstrArtha tattvajJaM vedAntajJAnapAragam ॥ AcAryyamupasaMgamya yatiM matimatAM varam ॥ 40 ॥
