तस्मादनेनैव पथा गतश्शिवं शिवोहमस्मीति शिवो भवेद्यतिः ॥ पितामहादिप्रविभागमुक्तये नद्यो यथासिन्धुमिमाः प्रयान्ति ॥ ३६ ॥

sanskrit

Therefore, by following this path, one who says, "I am Shiva, I am Shiva," becomes Shiva. These rivers flow like the sea to free themselves from the divisions of their grandfathers and others.

english translation

tasmAdanenaiva pathA gatazzivaM zivohamasmIti zivo bhavedyatiH ॥ pitAmahAdipravibhAgamuktaye nadyo yathAsindhumimAH prayAnti ॥ 36 ॥
