शंखं च पुरतः स्थाप्य तज्जलेनाभिषिच्य च ॥ पुष्पं निधाय शिरसि प्रणवेन प्रमार्जयेत् ॥ ४३ ॥

Placing the conch in front of him he sprinkled it with water Placing the flower on the head, one should wipe it with the oṁkāra.

english translation

zaMkhaM ca purataH sthApya tajjalenAbhiSicya ca ॥ puSpaM nidhAya zirasi praNavena pramArjayet ॥ 43 ॥
