आनन्दशक्तिस्तज्जास्यादिच्छाशक्तिस्तदुद्भवा ॥ ज्ञानशक्तिस्ततो जाता क्रियाशक्तिस्तु पंचमी ॥ एताभ्य एव संजाता निवृत्त्याद्याः कला मुने॥ ५५ ॥

That is the power of bliss and the power of desire arises from that. Then came the power of knowledge and the fifth power of action. From these, O sage, the arts of renunciation and others have arisen.

AnandazaktistajjAsyAdicchAzaktistadudbhavA ॥ jJAnazaktistato jAtA kriyAzaktistu paMcamI ॥ etAbhya eva saMjAtA nivRttyAdyAH kalA mune॥ 55 ॥
