यो अ॑द्रि॒भित्प्र॑थम॒जा ऋ॒तावा॒ बृह॒स्पति॑राङ्गिर॒सो ह॒विष्मा॑न् । द्वि॒बर्ह॑ज्मा प्राघर्म॒सत्पि॒ता न॒ आ रोद॑सी वृष॒भो रो॑रवीति ॥ यो अद्रिभित्प्रथमजा ऋतावा बृहस्पतिराङ्गिरसो हविष्मान् । द्विबर्हज्मा प्राघर्मसत्पिता न आ रोदसी वृषभो रोरवीति ॥

Bṛhaspati, who is the breaker of the mountain, the first-born (of Prajāpati), the observer of truth, the descendant of Aṅgirasa, the partaker of the oblation, the traverser of two worlds, abiding in the region of light, is to us a father; he, the showerer, hunders and in heaven and earth.

Bṛhaspati, who has appointed a region for the man who attends diligently at divine worship, destroying impediments, conquering foes, overcoming enemies, demolished various cities (of the asuras).

This Bṛhaspati has conquered the treasures (of the enemy), and the spacious pastures with the cattle; purposing to appropriate he waters (of the firmament), he destroys with sacred prayers the adversary of heaven.
