यद्वा॑ दि॒वि पार्ये॒ सुष्वि॑मिन्द्र वृत्र॒हत्येऽव॑सि॒ शूर॑सातौ । यद्वा॒ दक्ष॑स्य बि॒भ्युषो॒ अबि॑भ्य॒दर॑न्धय॒: शर्ध॑त इन्द्र॒ दस्यू॑न् ॥ यद्वा दिवि पार्ये सुष्विमिन्द्र वृत्रहत्येऽवसि शूरसातौ । यद्वा दक्षस्य बिभ्युषो अबिभ्यदरन्धयः शर्धत इन्द्र दस्यून् ॥

Or as, although engaged in heaven in the hero-animating conflict with foes, you protect the offerer of the libation, and humblest, undaunted Indra, the Dasyus, the disturbers of the pious and terrified worshipper, (so do you come when the soma is effused.
