प्र दे॒वं दे॒ववी॑तये॒ भर॑ता वसु॒वित्त॑मम् । आ स्वे योनौ॒ नि षी॑दतु ॥ प्र देवं देववीतये भरता वसुवित्तमम् । आ स्वे योनौ नि षीदतु ॥
Conduct the divine (Agni), the bestower of infinite wealth, to (receive charge of) the food of the gods; let him sit down on his appropriate seat.
english translation
आ जा॒तं जा॒तवे॑दसि प्रि॒यं शि॑शी॒ताति॑थिम् । स्यो॒न आ गृ॒हप॑तिम् ॥ आ जातं जातवेदसि प्रियं शिशीतातिथिम् । स्योन आ गृहपतिम् ॥
(Welcome him) as soon as born, like a beloved guest, and plural ce the lord of the mansion upon the sacred (altar) whence wisdom is derived.
english translation
अग्ने॑ यु॒क्ष्वा हि ये तवाश्वा॑सो देव सा॒धव॑: । अरं॒ वह॑न्ति म॒न्यवे॑ ॥ अग्ने युक्ष्वा हि ये तवाश्वासो देव साधवः । अरं वहन्ति मन्यवे ॥
Harness, divine Agni, your well-trained horses, who bear you quickly to the sacrifice.
english translation
अच्छा॑ नो या॒ह्या व॑हा॒भि प्रयां॑सि वी॒तये॑ । आ दे॒वान्त्सोम॑पीतये ॥ अच्छा नो याह्या वहाभि प्रयांसि वीतये । आ देवान्त्सोमपीतये ॥
Come, Agni, to our presence, bring hither the gods to partake of the (sacrificial) viands, to drink the Soma.
english translation
उद॑ग्ने भारत द्यु॒मदज॑स्रेण॒ दवि॑द्युतत् । शोचा॒ वि भा॑ह्यजर ॥ उदग्ने भारत द्युमदजस्रेण दविद्युतत् । शोचा वि भाह्यजर ॥
Blaze up, Agni, bearer of oblations; shine, undecaying Agni, radiant with undecaying lustre.
