स वा॒ज्यर्वा॒ स ऋषि॑र्वच॒स्यया॒ स शूरो॒ अस्ता॒ पृत॑नासु दु॒ष्टर॑: । स रा॒यस्पोषं॒ स सु॒वीर्यं॑ दधे॒ यं वाजो॒ विभ्वाँ॑ ऋ॒भवो॒ यमावि॑षुः ॥ स वाज्यर्वा स ऋषिर्वचस्यया स शूरो अस्ता पृतनासु दुष्टरः । स रायस्पोषं स सुवीर्यं दधे यं वाजो विभ्वाँ ऋभवो यमाविषुः ॥
He is vigorous and skilled in war, he is a ṛṣi worthy of homage, he is a hero, the discomfiter of foes, invincible in battles, he is possessed of ample wealth, and (is blessed) with excellent posterity, whom Vāja and Vibhvan, whom the Ṛbhus protect.
english translation
श्रेष्ठं॑ व॒: पेशो॒ अधि॑ धायि दर्श॒तं स्तोमो॑ वाजा ऋभव॒स्तं जु॑जुष्टन । धीरा॑सो॒ हि ष्ठा क॒वयो॑ विप॒श्चित॒स्तान्व॑ ए॒ना ब्रह्म॒णा वे॑दयामसि ॥ श्रेष्ठं वः पेशो अधि धायि दर्शतं स्तोमो वाजा ऋभवस्तं जुजुष्टन । धीरासो हि ष्ठा कवयो विपश्चितस्तान्व एना ब्रह्मणा वेदयामसि ॥
An excellent and agreeable form has been assumed by you; (this is our own) praise; Vājas and Ṛbhus be gratified (thereby), for you are wise, experienced, and intelligent; such we make you known (to be) by this (our) prayer.
english translation
यू॒यम॒स्मभ्यं॑ धि॒षणा॑भ्य॒स्परि॑ वि॒द्वांसो॒ विश्वा॒ नर्या॑णि॒ भोज॑ना । द्यु॒मन्तं॒ वाजं॒ वृष॑शुष्ममुत्त॒ममा नो॑ र॒यिमृ॑भवस्तक्ष॒ता वय॑: ॥ यूयमस्मभ्यं धिषणाभ्यस्परि विद्वांसो विश्वा नर्याणि भोजना । द्युमन्तं वाजं वृषशुष्ममुत्तममा नो रयिमृभवस्तक्षता वयः ॥
Do you who are wise, (bestow) upon us, in requital of our praises, all enjoyments that are good for man and fabricate for us, Ṛbhus, riches and food, resplendent invigorating, overpowering (foes), and most excellent.
english translation
इ॒ह प्र॒जामि॒ह र॒यिं ररा॑णा इ॒ह श्रवो॑ वी॒रव॑त्तक्षता नः । येन॑ व॒यं चि॒तये॒मात्य॒न्यान्तं वाजं॑ चि॒त्रमृ॑भवो ददा नः ॥ इह प्रजामिह रयिं रराणा इह श्रवो वीरवत्तक्षता नः । येन वयं चितयेमात्यन्यान्तं वाजं चित्रमृभवो ददा नः ॥
Gratified (by your worship), fabricate for us, on this occasion, progeny and wealth, and reputation, with numerous adherents; grant to us, Ṛbhus, abundant sustenance wherewith we may greatly excel others.
